Complicated story plot....semi to advanced writers requested

Let me begin with saying this idea with be happening begin to completely different time periods. If you choose to show interest, keep in mind things may not always be what they seem..... We all hear stores about the things that go bump in the night. A shadow dashes across a door way, but when you turn....nothing. Laughter echoes throughout a room, but you know nothing is there. Cold chills over take your body, and suddenly it's hard to breath. You know these things are real...how could they not be? The question is...what are they?

Welcome to The Rouge Tavern Inn locally run in our very own New Orleans, Louisiana. Workers and guest alike often complain they are touched, yelled at, and followed by things they can not explain.

The home of the Valentine's is truly a place to see. Parties lasting for days are often held here, and the couple prides them self in their extravagant home. Lately, however, strange things seem to happen. Figures are seen mixed in with guest, although they seem out of place. Rooms in the house will suddenly change appearance, and noises drift from the day room. The couples young daughter and son seem affected to. They can often be heard giggling by something unseen, and even have wandered upon things in the house belonging to nobody present.....

Is it possible two time periods can coincide with no realization about what it is going on? What actually makes a haunting? Is it a person trapped....forever reliving their history? Or perhaps it's simply a crossing in time, one which some may be overly sensitive more than another? Basically this role play is about people from a different time period yet existing in the same building. Glimpses are seem of the past and future, but their are no known explications for it.

This will basically be used as a realistic role play. No set plot will be giving. You are just a normal person going day by day. Maybe you experience stuff...maybe you won't.
