In fact, there are many and different answers to that query but all of them show that learning a language can only prove to be (just) beneficial for you. The first and maybe the most important in my personal viewpoint is that languages open your mind to new cultures, new ways of thinking and understanding the world around you. It may sound a tad too much, but take a second and think about it. Every nation or group of people that speaks a certain language has always a particular code of communication thats hidden in some way within the language. They also have different traditions and methods for perceiving the world around them. I believe I should mention something I read recently about languages, that was written by George Steiner, he authored that every time a language vanishes in one or another way from the world map, a whole world dies along.

The second and much more practical reason is that it is a great way to enrich your CV whatever is the job you do or that you intend to perform. From a simple salesman or even waiter to top professionals an extra language means maybe extra cash or even more chances for marketing. Ill give you an example, state you work as a secretary inside a company that has commercial relationships with China, and you happen to know chinese. Compare yourself to others co-workers of yours who wouldnt know chinese for the reason that company!!!

Ive read many peoples stories of how they met their soulmate through language-learning!!!Incredible maybe?.but language learning might prove to be a great way of conference new people, making new friends, expanding your sociable circle and why not meet your soulmate!!!Remember that people always feel closer to you if you talk their language?and you will gain their favour and their hearts!!!

Last but not least I think its a great way to spend time productively instead of sitting in front of the tv and get bored?.If you like studying and studying language learning is certainly for you!!!
